What ‘Free Britney’ shares with ‘Justice for Jenny’

Eight years ago this month, before Jenny Hatch won her freedom in court, her attorney Jonathan Martinis talked to me about his ultimate hopes for her case.

He hoped she would be the “rock that starts the avalanche.”

He hoped she would change the national conversation about guardianship.

He hoped she would push people to focus on what individuals can do, instead of what they can’t.

“If I go to a mechanic, no one assumes I can’t drive,” he told me at the time. “Where you and I would be called wise for getting help, when a person with a disability needs help, it’s just assumed they’re incapable of doing anything.”

Airlines Have Lost Or Damaged More Than 15,000 Wheelchairs Since Late 2018

Calling All RCM Employees: Vaccination Raffle!

Thank you to everyone who has made the decision to get vaccinated as we know that for many the decision wasn’t made lightly. We appreciate your contribution to helping us get closer to resuming our normal lives!

As a way to show our thanks RCM will be raffling the following:

(1) *$3,000 CASH

(2) *2-night/3 day vacation to one of the following destinations:

                                                                -Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA

                                                                -The Inn at Herrington Harbour in North Beach, MD

                                                                -Vacation package to Ocean City, MD

(3) *iPad

(4) ***Weekly cash prizes of $250 for the entire month of July***

                    There will only be one (1) winner per prize.  Eligibility is simple: 

You must be either fully vaccinated or receive the first dose of the COVID 19 vaccine (and submit proof of vaccination) no later than June 30 with a pledge to receive the 2nd dose as required---second dose must be received to receive the prize!

You must be currently and actively employed to win. 

Drawing will be on Tuesday, July 6th!
