President’s 2020 Budget Proposes Eliminating Funding for Special Olympics

"By now you’ve likely heard that the President’s 2020 budget proposes eliminating funding for Special Olympics’ Unified Champion Schools work: a nationwide initiative that creates more inclusive and safe schools for all students, with and without intellectual disabilities.

Many of you have asked how you can help and for that we are so grateful.

Action Item! Help us continue to reach nearly 3 million young people across the country, including the thousands of students we have impacted in the District of Columbia. Call your Member of Congress. Ask them to sign the Dear Colleague letter supporting Special Olympics & share why Special Olympics is important to YOU right away!"
