The Smithsonian's National Postal Museum will host a Pep
Rally at the museum on Saturday, May 16, 2015. The public is welcome to this
special program to be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cornerstone of this
event will be a letter writing campaign in support of the athletes of Special
Olympics USA. We have all the materials needed: paper, postcards, pens,
decorating supplies and a "how to guide," and will ensure that the
letters will be delivered to the team prior to the games in July. It will be an
active day filled with friendly competition and lots of Special Olympics sports
to play!
